As a result, social media platforms removed the video on the recommendation of the Calcutta High Court. Finally, in May 2025, a member of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee protested against Rathee’s video on the rise of Sikhs and the rule of Banda Singh Bahadur, claiming that the creator insulted the Sikh gurus with AI images on the cover of the video. As a result, the video was removed from the YouTube channel. However, after further protest from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Rathee deleted the video.
